Giorgio Franci is among the most talented and passionate olive oil producers we’ve ever met. His understanding of olive oil, from the farming of trees to the milling of olives, is incredible. The first time tasting his olive oil was at the end of a four day tour, after having tasted hundreds of oils. The moment we tasted Franci’s oils it was clear that they were something special, something inspiring! The combination of balance, freshness and intensity of flavor was incredible to experience. His mill is located on the slopes of Mt. Amiata, just a few kilometers south of Brunello di Montalcino.
